Helpful Hands is a new small business dedicating my time to any
help you may need around your home.

It is never easy to think that it is coming to the time where decisions need to be made as to whether your mother/father/relative needs to be placed into a care home as you are unable to give them the time they need due to your own commitments such as needing to work. It is then that people such as myself can be of great help. Things to think about is such things as, is there any real need to place your relative in a care home when you can employ a personal assistant/home help to come look after your relative in their own home? Could it be that care only be needed during waking hours, to help with dressing, bathing, making meals, shopping, outings, chats/company etc. Does your loved really need 24 hour care or could they be fine once in bed until the next morning? Homecare agencies employ carers but the time spent with service users is very limited and rushed because they have many other service users to attend to during the day, whereas I offer a service of spending much more time with individuals.
I am a warm and friendly person and most people seem to warm to me once getting to know me. I have a fun sense of humour and love to laugh and see people enjoying themselves.
Some people are lonely and just need someone to brighten up their day, someone to socialise with, eat out with and perhaps just enjoy general day to day chat with good company.
My rate is very reasonable and affordable.

Realising and accepting the time has come to call in help can be daunting and difficult which is why it is important to choose the right person to come into your home. I will gladly make an appointment to come visit you so we can have an informal, no ties visit free of charge.
Should you decide I am the Personal Assistant/home help you would like to employ we will look at the level of support required and I will put in place a Support Plan which will document your needs.
I am CRB checked, honest, realiable, hardworking, kind, caring and can produce references if so required.
Cat Sitting Service

Going away on holiday and don't want to put your cat into a cattery, then why not employ Bev's Helpful Hands to come look after your cat in the comfort of his/her own home.
I will visit your property, feed, water and change litter daily or twice daily depending on your preference. I also incorporate playtime in my time with the cat/s.
I am a huge animal lover and I can assure you your fur kid will be very well looked after. I can supply references if required.
